India, Oct. 31 -- Minister for Jal Shakti, Javed Ahmed Rana, today said that the government has taken adequate measures to address the issue of inadequate water supply in Humhama and adjoining areas.
He informed the Legislative Assembly that a Detailed Project Report (DPR) worth 129.90 crore for the construction of an additional 4 MGD Plant to augment the Doodh Ganga Plant at Kralpora-which supplies water to Humhama, has been submitted to the Housing and Urban Development Department for approval.
The Minister was replying to the Calling Attention Motions moved by legislators Qaysar Jamshaid Lone, Saifullah Mir, and Hilal Akbar Lone regarding the insufficient water supply to Friends Enclave, Humhama.
