Srinagar, March 12 -- The Anti Corruption Bureau has registered a formal case into the allegations of acquisition of disproportionate assets by a public servant - a professor at the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Srinagar.

The accused Manzoor Ahmad Tantray, son of Abdul Khaliq Tantray of Duderhama Ganderbal, is presently posted as a Professor at the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Srinagar, ACB stated in a statement.

It said Tantray is believed to be in possession of huge assets, both immovable/movable and cash deposits in his own name as well as in the name of his family members.
