India, Oct. 16 -- Police have apprehended three long-time absconders in Srinagar and Shopian, a police spokesperson informed Wednesday.

He said in Srinagar, the two absconders - Waseem Bhat, son of Abdul Majeed Bhat of Al-Farooq Colony, presently residing in Hamdaniya Colony, Bemina, who has been absconding since 2013, and Abdul Rashid Shiekh, son of Abdul Ahad Shiekh of Athwajan Panthachowk, who has been absconding since 2021, were arrested following specific intelligence inputs.
