India, Nov. 24 -- Twelve members of a family in Nowgam village of Handwara, north Kashmir's Kupwara district, were hospitalised on Saturday night after they fell unconscious, with officials suspecting food poisoning as the cause.
According to officials, the family members became unwell shortly after dinner and were immediately rushed to the New Type Primary Health Centre (NTPHC) for initial medical attention.
After preliminary treatment, all twelve were referred to Government Medical College (GMC) Handwara for specialised care.
Hospital authorities said the patients are currently stable and responding to treatment. Medical teams are monitoring their condition, and further investigations are underway to confirm the source of the suspect...
