TOKYO, Aug. 23 -- Prime Minister and His Cabinet issued the following highlight:
On August 23, 2025, Prime Minister Ishiba visited the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) Yokosuka Base in Kanagawa Prefecture.
After touring the JS KAGA at the Yokosuka Base, Prime Minister Ishiba observed facilities at Yokosuka Port and subsequently visited the Royal Navy aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales.
He then delivered an address to the personnel and spoke to the press regarding today's visit and related matters.
