TOKYO, March 7 -- JAMSTEC issued the following press release:
The JMSDF will conduct Overseas Training Cruise 2025 as described below.
1. Objectives
(1) To provide Trainees with on-the-job training opportunities through sea cruises that improve their practical knowledge and skills essential for junior officers, while familiarizing them with the sea.
(2) To have Trainees conduct exercises with foreign countries, improve understandings of the activities of these countries and develop international sense through sailing in the South China Sea and others
(3) To promote friendship and goodwill with visiting countries and to contribute to the realization of the "Free and Open Indo-Pacific"
