Prime Minister Ishiba expressed his congratulations to Prime Minister Carney on the victory in Canada's federal election. Prime Minister Ishiba stated that, amidst continuing severe international environment, he would like to cooperate with Prime Minister Carney, who is the chair of the G7 Summit this year, for partnering between Japan and Canada as well as within the G7.
