TOKYO, July 2 -- Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan issued the following news release:
On July 2, Japan sent to Ukraine the notification confirming that its internal procedures necessary for the entry into force of the "Convention between the Government of Japan and the Government of Ukraine for the Elimination of Double Taxation with respect to Taxes on Income and the Prevention of Tax Evasion and Avoidance" (hereinafter referred to as "the Convention") (signed on February 19, 2024) were completed. Thus, all the necessary procedures for the entry into force of the Convention have been completed.
