Today, the Cabinet has enacted a Cabinet Order relating to a provisional anti-dumping duty on graphite electrodes originating in the People's Republic of China* (hereinafter referred to as "China").
The objective of enacting this Cabinet Order is to impose a provisional anti-dumping duty on graphite electrodes originating in China, since the facts of the importation of dumped products and the material injury, etc., to the domestic industry caused by such importation have been presumed in the investigation conducted upon receipt of an application requesting the imposition of an anti-dumping duty, and it is deemed necessary to protect such domestic industry.
