Maseru, Feb. 16 -- The National AIDS Commission Lesotho (NAC) together with the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) and other stakeholders commemorated the International World Condom Day on Saturday.
Organized by the AHF, the day is celebrated annually on February 13th as a reminder on the importance of wearing a condom, as it a contraceptive that protect against Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) and unwanted pregnancy.
NAC Communications and Advocacy Manager Teboho Mohlabi explained that NAC's mission is to provide leadership and coordination of the National multi-sectorial and decentralized HIV and AIDS response.
