Lesotho, Aug. 27 -- Once frowned upon and seen as rebellious, tattooing has become a thriving craft, and for Kananelo Thoahlane, it is more than ink on skin, it is a way to make a living and tell stories.

Thoahlane, also known as "35", the co- founder of Uforia Ink, said tattooing found him when he was working at a tattoo studio to help with marketing and designing. As he was adapting and learning, he ended up working as an apprentice because he had passion for creativity and design. He loved it, wanted to pursue it with his friend and the idea of making a living out of art was cherry on top.
