Maseru, June 20 -- Regardless of the title, widows are bearing, they are still women and thus need to be treated like all other groups that form part of the society.

In an effort to embrace their existence 'She-Hive' will celebrate International widows Day with widows this Saturday. The celebration is also open for all people to attend to show support.

International Widows Day is a global awareness day that takes place annually on June 23rd. The day was launched by the United Nations (UN) in 2010 in an effort to raise awareness of the violation of human rights.
