MASERU, April 7 -- Some members of the Lesotho Mounted Police Service (LMPS) and Lesotho Defence Force (LDF) are alleged to have beaten members of the public in the process of enforcing lockdown regulations.

They have recently come under fire from enraged members of the public, who decried alleged acts of torture at their hands over social media platforms during this ongoing 21 days lockdown imposed by government of Lesotho as a measure to curb and contain the spread of COVID-19.
