MASERU, Oct. 15 -- In response to a shortage of suitable computer labs in schools, Minister of Communications, Science and Technology Chief Thesele Maseribane announced that his ministry is advocating for establishment of 40 labs in schools across the country.

In areas without electricity he stated that solar energy will be an alternative source of power for the schools computer labs. The labs he said will be for primary, secondary and high school levels and the expectation is that they will be set up before the end of this year. The initiative he stated has been realized through an agreement between his ministry and the African Development Bank.
