LPB hands over M100k cheque to MSMEs
MASERU, July 7 -- As part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the only bank with 100% Basotho ownership Lesotho Post Bank (LPB), handed over M100, 000 cheque to an association for informal traders Khathang Tema Baitsokoli on Wednesday.
The initiative was necessitated following the realization that the Small, Micro and Medium Enterprises (SMMEs) sector has been adversely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and the lockdown, which forced businesses to close for almost two months.
