MASERU, Oct. 22 -- Lesotho stands at a critical point in its climate journey, facing escalating threats from drought, soil erosion, and biodiversity loss.

The small, landlocked nation, perched high in the mountains of Southern Africa, is warming faster than expected, and the effects of climate change are being felt in every sector, from agriculture and water resources to rural livelihoods and national food security.
