MASERU, April 25 -- After boycotting courts and tribunals from April 16 to 24, Law Society of Lesotho members have resumed their duties and responsibilities starting from yesterday.

This is according to a press statement released by the society after their special meeting of April 24, where they made a number of resolutions.

The boycotting of duties happened as a result of the council of Law Society of Lesotho engagement of the acting Chief Justice, President of the Court of Appeal, Registrar of the High Court and Court of appeal and other relevant stakeholders among the triggers that may have prompted the suspension of the court of appeal.
