Kabi warns aspiring cannabis farmers
MASERU, Aug. 20 -- The Minister of Health Hon. Nkaku Kabi, has issued a warning to Basotho who have applied for medical cannabis licenses production and are failing to renew them.
Speaking at a press conference at the Ministry's headquarters, Kabi mentioned that out of the 144 people that were granted operating licenses, only 8 of them are actually progressing in the industry. 94 of them have not renewed their licenses and for this reason, the ministry is planning to terminate those licenses.
Lesotho was granted an opportunity by the International Narcotics Control Board (INCB) to issue 200 licenses to aspiring cannabis farmers, however with the current situation of licenses not being renewed, he doubts they will reach the maximum quota...
