MASERU, June 18 -- The Government of National Unity (GNU) has been a subject of debate for a while now with many suggesting that it would be appropriate at this point in time where Lesotho is undergoing national reforms under a government with a seemingly shaky sustainability status.

GNU is a broad coalition government consisting of all parties (or all major parties) in the parliament, usually formed during a time of war or national emergency.

On Friday Transformation Resource Center (TRC) called in leaders from various political parties to give their stance towards the issue of GNU and whether they feel it would be effective or not.
