MAFETENG, March 19 -- In Mafeteng, a hum fills the air. It is the sound of bees, hard at work, flitting between wildflowers and fruit trees. Among them is Sechaba Matsolo, a dedicated beekeeper whose journey into the world of apiculture began long before he knew it would become his livelihood.

As a young herd boy, Matsolo would often stumble upon bee colonies tucked away in hollow trees. Fascinated by these tiny creatures, he would collect honeycombs to enjoy their sweet nectar. "Back then, it was just about the taste," he recalled with a smile.

He never imagined that one day he would be making a living from it.
