Maseru, Oct. 15 -- Domiciliary Health Centre held 13 village health workers to a two weeks training session to equip them with skills on working with people needing health care in the villages.

Domiciliary Health Centre Nurse Manager Cecilia Khachane inidicated this is the first time the clinic engages in training village health workers. People who qualify to become village health workers are those above 25 years of age and below 70 years. She said the duration of the training is two weeks, with the first week covering the theory aspect while the second week will be focused on practicals.
