MASERU, March 20 -- An initiative to produce as many girl scientists is taking momentum.
In celebration of International Women's Day that was on the 8th March, tomorrow, Gender Empowerment Entrepreneurship Media (GEM) Institute and Girls Coding Academy will hold a stakeholders' meeting to inform on the upcoming Girl Tech Talk Conference scheduled for 29-30 August 2019 on encouraging girls to passionately partake in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics.
Themed "Women in Technology, Empowerment, Innovation and the 4th Industrial Revolution," the conference is also aimed at closing the digital gender gap and accelerating girls and women engagement in technology innovation.
