Maseru, April 25 -- The First Capital Bank Easter Showdown Chess tournament held in Francistown, Botswana saw Lesotho chess starlet Reitumetse Taioe crowned the winner of the tournament's development section while 'Malillo Phera was named the best player of the secondary schools category.
Taioe took home a trophy and gold medal after she secured 7 points in 7 rounds of the tournament.
Taioe was not the only Lesotho chess player to become victorious in that section as; Lebakae Mojakisane and Ntsielo Bonolo went for a 6 points tie, therefore sharing second and third position. They were honored with a silver and bronze medal respectively.
