BAM Group Foundation, through its Ambassador and Deputy Speaker of parliament, Hon. Ts'epang Ts'ita-Mosena, held the Race for 12th Parliament seminar, where the main focus was on educating women and youth on strategies to participate in politics and potentially join the parliament.
"There is a global movement to have more women and youth in parliament, and Lesotho is no exception. Right now as we speak we have some very worrisome numbers because we only have thirty women MPs in the national assembly, and then we have three youth MPs in the national assembly.
