Maseru, Sept. 1 -- The High Commission of the Republic of South Africa (RSA) on Monday handed over a ten months child who was abducted by an unknown woman in November last year in Berea district, to the government of Lesotho and her biological parents.

The Free State (FS) acting Premier and Member of Executive Council (MEC) of Social Development Mamiki Qabathe said the child was abducted to RSA at only three months old. Judging from the traumatic experience this may have on both parents and a child, Qabathe said she hopes the social workers in Lesotho will work in collaboration with the child's family and counsel them.
