MASERU, Oct. 15 -- October 5 the teachers across the world commemorated the World Teacher's Day, also known asInternational Teachers Day.

Established in 1994, it commemorates the signing of the 1966 United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and International Labour Organization (ILO) recommendations regarding the status of teachers, which is a standard-setting instrument that addresses the status and situations of teachers around the world.
