MASRU, April 8 -- The Lesotho National Cricket team coach Theko Mahloane says his team is faced with a mammoth task of securing friendly matches when the games resume, since all their proposed friendly matches had to be canceled due to the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic.

Cricket, like other sporting codes, has been affected by this pandemic as everyone is expected to observe the social distancing protocol, in order to curb the spread of the deadly virus. With the nation-wide lockdown declared by the government a week ago, the National Cricket team's preparations for a tournament that was to be held in Stellenbosch South Africa (SA), were abruptly shelved, and Mahloane is concerned.
