BEREA, April 16 -- Lesotho Planned Parenthood Association (LPPA) held its 48th Annual General Meeting under the theme 'she has a right to decide' on Saturday.
The LPPA is affiliated to the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), the association was registered in 1968 and has seven service delivery points in five of the ten districts of Lesotho being, Butha-Buthe, Leribe, Maseru, Mafeteng, Mohale's Hoek and Quthing. The organisation runs an outreach services program to reach communities in rural parts of the country as well as textile factories offering the services like management of Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI), physical examination and screening of the reproductive organs.
