Hyderabad, Sept. 29 -- Two people drowned in the Krishna district after mistakenly falling into the canal where they had been fishing.
Mahankali Siva (15) and his paternal uncle Mahankali Narayana (38) went to fish near a canal at Vatsavai Mandal on Monday evening, according to Vatsavai Police Station Sub Inspector Someswara Rao. He said, "Both of them fell into the canal unintentionally and drowned."
Under the applicable parts of the IPC, a case of accidental death due to drowning has been registered.
