Hyderabad, Sept. 30 -- At the Apex Council meeting scheduled to take place on October 6, the state government is preparing to give an effective response to the Andhra Pradesh government's arguments on river water sharing. The State Government will make a firm request for absolute clarification on the allocation of water to the State of Telangana, in addition to assuming the role of the Centre.

The conference, to be chaired by Jal Shakti Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, will be attended by Chief Minister K ChandrashekharRao and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, his Andhra Pradesh counterpart.
