India, March 27 -- A major road accident occurred in the early hours of Thursday on the Somagudem overbridge along the national highway under Kasipet police station limits in Mancherial district. A moving iron rod-laden truck rammed into a stationary iron-loaded lorry from behind, trapping the driver in the cabin.
The driver, identified as Gurjeet Singh, was stuck inside the cabin following the collision. Upon receiving information, Kasipet Sub-Inspector Praveen Kumar, along with Petro Car ASI Boora Ravinder and Blue Colts constable Sajan, rushed to the spot.
