Hyderabad, Sept. 30 -- Nidanapram Devaiah, Telangana Rashtra Samithi leader and Rythu Bandhu Kalwasrirampur mandal organiser, was assaulted by four unidentified people and threatened late on Tuesday night with a toy gun. While the precise motive for the attack is not yet clear, police believed that the reason for the attack was a land dispute. Four people arrived at Devaiah 's residence by bike at about 12.10 a.m. and knocked on the gates. Devaiah, who was asleep at that time, opened the door after hearing a sound.
