Hyderabad, April 26 -- In a tragic incident, three people lost their lives after accidentally drowning in the Jalleru River in Jangareddygudem, Eluru district, Andhra Pradesh, on Friday.
The deceased have been identified as Reshma (24), Mohishad (23), and Hasad (14), all residents of Ootlapalli, Dibbagud. Following information from locals, the police quickly responded to the scene, where they retrieved the bodies with the assistance of rescue swimmers. The bodies were then transported to a hospital for post-mortem examinations.
The police have registered a case and are conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
