Hyderabad, Feb. 25 -- The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has recommended significant changes to the engineering curriculum to improve students' employability and align education with industry demands.
Following consultations with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, a core committee submitted its recommendations, which focus on introducing an industry-oriented syllabus.
TSCHE Chairman Professor Balakrishna Reddy emphasised the need for curriculum updates to equip students with skills required in global job markets. The proposed changes include a uniform credit framework; Strengthening core branches; Industrial internships; Flexible credit transfer policy and faculty and student exchange programmes.
