Telangana State Election Commission speeds up preparations for local body elections

Hyderabad, Feb. 8 -- The Telangana State Election Commission has intensified preparations for the upcoming local body elections across the state.



Ten Master Trainers and State Resource Persons have been appointed in each district to train election officials responsible for the Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituency (MPTC), Zilla Parishad Territorial Constituency (ZPTC), and Panchayat elections.



Training for these Master Trainers and State Resource Persons was conducted at the MCHRD on 5 February. The Election Commission has issued directives to district collectors, instructing them to complete the appointment of returning officers for mandals, district parishads, and panchayats by 10 February.
