Hyderabad, Jan. 31 -- The Telangana government has expressed interest in investing in hydroelectric projects in Himachal Pradesh following an invitation for proposals from the latter.



A delegation of senior power department officials from Telangana recently visited Himachal Pradesh to explore potential collaborations. They inspected SELI HEP (400 MW) and MIYAR HEP (120 MW) sites and later recommended prioritizing projects with over 100 MW capacity.



Following this, Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu, along with the Principal Secretary, Department of Energy, met Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. During the meeting, they formally submitted a letter expressing Telangana's interest in SELI HEP ...
