Hyderabad, March 14 -- Several districts in Telangana recorded a significant rise in temperature in March, with Friday's maximum temperature exceeding 40 degC in many areas-3.3 degC above normal.
According to the Meteorological Department, northern Telangana is experiencing intense heat, with temperatures expected to reach 42 degC in some places over the next two days. The districts of Adilabad, Kumram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, and Jagitial are witnessing severe heat conditions, prompting the department to issue a yellow alert for these areas.
On Saturday, temperature increases are expected in seven more districts. In Hyderabad, the maximum temperature recorded on Friday was 39 degC.
