Hyderabad, April 25 -- Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Mahesh Kumar Goud confirmed that the Congress party supported AIMIM in the Hyderabad Local Body MLC election. He praised the AIMIM candidate for securing a remarkable victory.
Speaking to media persons at HICC in Hyderabad before attending the Bharat Summit conference, Goud said that after Congress came to power, AIMIM had supported the government on various issues, prompting Congress to back AIMIM's candidate in the MLC election.
