Hyderabad, July 2 -- The Telangana High Court on Wednesday heard a key petition regarding the evaluation of Group-1 examinations, in which the petitioners alleged serious injustice against Telugu medium candidates.
According to the petitioners, out of around 8,000 candidates who wrote the exam in Telugu, only about 60 qualified. Their counsel argued that the poor results were due to evaluators lacking proficiency in the Telugu language, leading to unfair assessments. They claimed that unqualified evaluators unfamiliar with Telugu were assigned to check the answer sheets, denying a fair chance to Telugu medium aspirants.
