Hyderabad, March 19 -- The Telangana High Court has dismissed the drone case filed against Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
The case was registered by Narsingi police in March 2020, when Revanth Reddy, then a Member of Parliament, allegedly flew a drone over the Janwada farmhouse, reportedly linked to former minister K. T. Rama Rao, and filmed the area.
Following the incident, Narsingi police arrested Revanth Reddy and sent him to jail. He was later released on bail. Recently, he filed a petition in the High Court seeking dismissal of the case. His lawyer argued that Janwada was not a restricted area and that the case was politically motivated to target him. Accepting the argument, the court dismissed the case.
