Hyderabad, Feb. 3 -- The Telangana government has decided to auction Rajiv Swagruha apartments, open plots, and independent houses in Hyderabad and other districts. The auction is expected to generate around Rs 2,000 crore by the end of February.

Key locations include Bandlaguda, Nagole, Pocharam, Gajularamaram, Jawaharnagar, and districts such as Khammam, Vikarabad, and Kamareddy. A total of 760 plots in Greater Hyderabad and 1,342 open plots spread over 350 acres will be up for sale.

Sources indicate that the revenue will be used for the Indiramma Housing Scheme. The government recently formed three committees to assess the value of these assets.
