India, April 13 -- Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka asserted that the Telangana government will not compromise on the implementation of welfare schemes. He said several states are observing Telangana's welfare model with great interest.
Addressing the media in his Madhira constituency, Vikramarka criticised the previous BRS government for failing to fulfil its promise of supplying fine rice through ration cards during its 10-year tenure. He noted that the Congress government began supplying fine rice to the poor without making any prior promises.
