Hyderabad, Jan. 27 -- Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageshwara Rao announced the disbursement of Rs 569 crore to the bank accounts of 4,41,911 farmers across 563 mandals in 32 districts under the Rythu Bharosa scheme. The initiative aims to provide financial assistance to farmers for agricultural purposes.



Speaking at the event, the minister highlighted that the government offers Rs 12,000 per acre annually under the scheme. For the current agricultural season, farmers are receiving Rs 6,000 per acre directly into their accounts. The scheme, launched to honour a key election promise, excludes Hyderabad and targets farmers in other districts.
