India, March 29 -- After a prolonged wait, the Telangana government has approved mutual transfers for teachers across the state. In this regard, Secretary of the Education Department, Yogita Rana, issued Government Order (GO) No. 70.
Following the GO, Director of School Education E V Narasimha Reddy sent a list of applicants to all District Education Officers (DEOs) and issued detailed guidelines to process the mutual transfers.
According to the department, 626 applications have been received so far. Based on these, a total of 1,252 teachers will be transferred across various regions in the state.
