Hyderabad, March 17 -- Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has announced that he will soon lead an all-party delegation to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi to push for constitutional recognition of Backward Class (BC) reservations.
Speaking in the state assembly after introducing a bill to provide 42% reservations for BCs in education, employment, and politics, Reddy urged Leader of the Opposition K. Chandrashekar Rao and BJP leaders to join him in meeting the Prime Minister. He emphasised the need to build pressure on the Centre to enact a law ensuring constitutional status for BC reservations.
