Hyderabad, Jan. 30 -- The Telangana Assembly session is expected to commence on February 7, as per initial reports.
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has reportedly decided to hold a special session to discuss the caste census report and appeal to the central government for an increase in BC reservations.
The caste census survey, conducted across the state, has now been finalized. Officials have prepared the final report, which will be submitted to the cabinet sub-committee on February 2, 2025. The sub-committee will review the findings before forwarding them to the state cabinet for approval. A special cabinet meeting is scheduled for February 5 to deliberate on the report before presenting it in the Assembly on February 7.
