Hyderabad, Feb. 3 -- The Supreme Court heard a petition filed by BRS Working President K. T. Rama Rao regarding the disqualification of seven party MLAs who defected. The bench, comprising Justices B. R. Gavai and A. G. Masih, instructed clarity on the timeframe for deciding the disqualification.



The court will hear the matter on February 10, along with another case concerning the disqualification of three more BRS MLAs - D. Nagender, Kadiam Srihari, and T. Venkat Rao. Senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi, representing the Telangana Assembly Secretary, has been asked to provide legal consultation on the issue.
