Hyderabad, March 23 -- The Supreme Court has issued a fresh notice to Telangana Legislative Assembly Speaker G. Prasad Kumar, directing him to respond by 25 March in connection with a petition seeking the disqualification of 10 BRS MLAs who defected to other parties.
The hearing was held on 22 March following a petition filed by BRS Working President K. T. Rama Rao and others. The court noted that the Speaker had not responded to the earlier notice issued in the case, prompting the bench to issue another notice with a clear deadline.
