Hyderabad, Feb. 20 -- Several parts of Hyderabad experienced a sudden change in weather, with heavy rainfall bringing relief after a hot day. Localities such as Dilsukhnagar, Kothapet, and Nagole reported significant rainfall, while Yacharam mandal in Ranga Reddy district also witnessed rain accompanied by thunder and lightning.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) attributed the rainfall to the formation of a surface trough over the Bay of Bengal, which is moving in a north-easterly direction. This system is expected to bring heavy rains to north-eastern states and light showers to parts of northern India, along with gusty winds.
