India, April 19 -- Telangana IAS officer Smita Sabharwal, who is facing a police inquiry for allegedly reposting a fake image on the social media platform X, responded to the police notice issued to her on 12 April regarding a land-related issue in Gachibowli.
In a statement posted on X, Sabharwal said she had fully cooperated with the police and answered all queries as a law-abiding citizen. Questioning the selective action, she pointed out that the same post was shared by over 2,000 users. "Is the law equal for all, or are only a few being targeted?" she asked.
